Press Release Summary: OneBigU.com allows users to help Darfur by answering questions posted by students around the world.
Press Release Body: Toronto, ON, Canada, January 30, 2008 -- OneBigU (http://www.onebigu.com) is a free online service that allows users to help a struggling student and a Darfur refugee at the same time. Users answer questions posted by students, earn money for every correct answer, and can choose to split the money with a Darfur charity. Darfur is a region in Sudan where more than 400,000 people have died from the conflict and disease, and 3 million people have become refugees since 2003.
OneBigU, launched in January 2008, is partnered with Help Darfur Now (HDN), a US-based student charity in support of Darfur. All donations will be sent to HDN to provide relief for Darfur.
Users will be part of an online grassroots movement that harnesses the altruistic potential of the Internet. As long as members have access to the Internet, the online community becomes a channel for members to directly contribute to Darfur at any time or place.
